bramble, unfortunately I have no work to share it with you. Although there are some things to do which I would be happy to give away. Such things as making appointments with staff members who are soooo busy that they have no time at all *grrr*

Hello Girls and Ladies!

I had a very nice evening yesterday. I asked a friend to help me with a computer game and to thank him I invited him for dinner. Schweinsmedaillons mit Bandnudeln, Champignonsauce und Speckbohnen. Delicious!

Well we managed to install the game and start playing. For me the purpose of starting this game was to keep a promise - I promised that I will try the game if the other person finishes his work for university.

It is an online roleplaying game - but at first I could not find my friend. So around 10:45 p.m. I send him a SMS that I am waiting for him in the tavern in a certain town.
Like 2 secondes later he called and asked: Are you sure you mean this town? How can I find you - what the ... are you doing there? He was rather confused but also very happy - because when I made the promise he thought that I was joking.

Now I'm invited to a real beer this weekend *g*

I might join him for another gambling session tonight - let's see

Good morning girls,

Yesterday I have been too busy to join in. :?

My weekend: Friday evening was nice at home, Saturday rain and homework, Sunday sunny and my first "opened" ride this year (convertible car). Sunday evening - cinema "Der gute Hirte", the movie is more or less ok, but afterwards I had such terrible nightmares about a time 20 years ago and therefore I have been so tired yesterday.

At last, yesterday I had to go to the otorhinolaryngologist (pronunciation heavily practised years ago ) for an injection (I'm allergic to birches) and I tried to convince the dealer to repair my mobile, he did, but it doesn't work totally but at least in parts.

Today I got an invitation for an interview next Tuesday for 2 hours and parts in English. I feel so queasy.

Bramble, I will keep my fingers crossed for you until you got the decision.

To all a very nice and peaceful day,

Adelaide

Welcome, HappyAnny

Adelaide, I'm sure you'll pass the English bit in your interview with flying colours! No worries! I'll keep my fingers crossed for you.

Gute Seele, did you manage to find your friend in the game, or were you completely lost in the wrong city? *gg*

Here's proof of what can happen if a wife or girlfriend drags her husband
or boyfriend along shopping: this letter was recently sent by Tesco's Head
Office to a customer in Oxford:

Dear Mrs. Murray,

While we thank you for your valued custom and use of the Tesco Loyalty
Card, the Manager of our store in Banbury is considering banning you and
your family from shopping with us, unless your husband stops his antics.

Below is a list of offences over the past few months, all of which were
verified by our surveillance cameras:

1. June 15: Took 24 boxes of condoms and randomly put them in people's
trolleys when they weren't looking.

2 July 2: Set all the alarm clocks in Housewares to go off at 5-minute
intervals.

3. July 7: Made a trail of tomato juice on the floor leading to feminine
products aisle.

4. July 19: Walked up to an employee and told her in an official tone,
"Code 3 in housewares" ..... and stood around to watch what happened.

5. August 14: Moved a 'CAUTION - WET FLOOR' sign to a carpeted area.

6. September 15: Set up a tent in the outdoor clothing department and told
shoppers he'd invite them in if they would fetch sausages and a Calor gas
stove.

7. September 23: When the Deputy Manager asked if she could help him, he
began to cry and asked, "Why can't you people just leave me alone?"

8. October 4: Looked right into the security camera; used it as a mirror,
picked his nose, and ate it.

9. November 10: While appearing to be choosing kitchen knives in the
Housewares aisle asked an assistant if he knew where the antidepressants
were.

10. December 3: Darted around the store suspiciously, loudly humming the
"Mission Impossible" theme.

11. December 6: In the kitchenware aisle, spent over 30 minutes practicing
the "Madonna look" using different size funnels.

12. December 18: Hid in a clothing rack and when people browsed, yelled
"PICK ME!" "PICK ME!"

13. December 21: When an announcement came over the loud speaker, assumed
the foetal position and screamed "NO! NO! It's those voices again."

And; last, but not least:

14. December 23: Went into a fitting room, shut the door, waited a while;
then yelled, very loudly, "There is no toilet paper in here."

Yours sincerely,

Charles Brown

Store Manager

Good morning girls!

Lovely sunrise here with lots of blue sky and fresh air. Bossie's not in today, and it'll be a quiet day (yet again).

Anyone got any work for me?

Have a good day everyone!
